These prices in particular were set before we ever had the nether. (AKA, back when the block was super-hard to get, since you could not go to the nether)

Nether shop price is outrageous.

About the nether shop - talk to Fractalion and give him your suggestions/etc

By suggestions, he means "Give Fractalion ideas on what you think the price should actually be."

Not "Tell Fractalion that the current price is stupid."

I've had none of the first, and a lot of the latter. :P

I thought that the nether prices were outrageous aswell, but then i remembered that they were even more expensive (don't quote me on that) in the old days, when we didn't have it. So i think that the prices are now perfectly fine. With the exeption of drops (a.k.a blaze rods. Those could be a little cheaper.)

no, those are overpriced as well. I could agree with maybe 16 on those at the same prices though for.

Here is my complete suggestion.
Netherrack64 6400
Ghasttear 16000
SoulSand 646400
Glowstone  166400
Netherbrick 16 6400
Blazerod 1 4000
Netherstalk(netherwart) 32 2000

Remove
Brewing Stand
Gold Nuggets
Glow Dust
Nether Fence
Nether Stairs

My reasoning
Removing:
Brewing stands can be made with blazerod easily
Goldnuggets can be made from gold already outside of nether, no sense in selling them when they can get otherways(also gold is sold in autoshop already)
Glow dust can be made from glowstone, and right now glow dust is cheaper to buy 4 of and then turn into 1 glowstone than buying glowstone outright
Nether Stairs and fences can be made out of nether brick

Pricing:
Netherrack and soulsand were easy to find in large quantities, and no one can deny it.
Glowstone was easy to find as well but not in as large of amounts
Ghastears I did not mess with, and I mean come on, you had to kill a ghast to get it.
Blazerod you had to kill a blaze, once you found a spawner
Netherbrick, once you found a fortress, it was easy to mine, the hard part was finding the fortress
Netherwart, once you had it, it was easy to grow.

I say raise soulsand cost because it is harder to get than netherrack. You can find netherrack ANYWHERE on the nether. Either that or lower the price for netherrack.

I like your prices.

If anyone else has a productive idea to add, go ahead and do so now. These prices seem reasonable enough to me, though.

It was not right there as soon as you entered nether I agree, but it was still easy to find in large quantities without have to go very far.
