Please tell your friends about our servers/forums. If 10% of you each brought a friend that would help us immensely

So... I'm gonna be extremely blunt and concise.
If you want SFT to last and not die off, now is the time to act.
Maybe you haven't been voting until now because you don't want to, you are lazy, you don't think the prizes are good enough or whatever other reason.

But since you keep playing on our servers, it means you do like/enjoy SFT.
It's now or never.


There's no nice way of saying this but unless the players become more involved we're going to lose SFT (maybe not now, not tomorrow, not next month but it's slowly declining in playerbase...)
I did what I could, including paid ads, getting someone who manages our facebook / social media pages, getting someone to bump our PMC post daily, posting the server on reddit when allowed and so on. It's just not enough any more.

I'm not gonna run a shaming campaign telling the players that if you don't vote you are ungrateful and all that. I am simply asking you, even begging you to /vote daily on all the websites and invite your friends to SFT. If you are already doing that, you have my undying gratitude! If not, please start now

My friend won't buy mc PC until my birthday for some reason my birthday is Oct 2

I have to admit myself, I have been on the busy side and holding off voting. I vote here and there, but after seeing this post, im gonna vote everyday from now on like I used too. I hope everyone does the same!

We could offer small rewards for recruiting new players to SFT. New players could confirm who invited them and maybe we give that person 5k emp or something. Most people are extrinsically motivated

I also think that events seem to draw big crowds - so maybe more advertised/planned events could help.

i dont think I need or deserve any reward if the plugin is a successful. If I didn't noticed this post i wouldn't have think of invite my old friends to SFT ( most of them resigned from Minecraft). It would be lovely though, for players who contributed to the server's population, but definitely not me.

There are better ways to fix the server than voting.. There used to be a lot of players in 2011, and old players are leaving because many of their favorite things are being changed/removed. Instead of asking people to vote, instead you should focus on asking them what they want. I know you've done that before, but in all honestly 90% of the time nothing happens.

And voting was a lot better when I voted once, and got 10k. Now I have to vote like 8 times and end up with 3 gold, 8 stained clay, 4 wool, 2 vote tokens and 2 enderpearls.

The voting page is sooooo glitchy on my Mac. Can you make it so there is just a straight list (optional) of places to vote and we can open in a new tab as well as the one vote page for those who find it a convenience? That would persuade me to vote more often.

I'm gonna respond to this in several ports

#1. Voting helps us get new players. It's unavoidable for old players to not get bored of Minecraft and stop playing after a while, hell even I'm played

#2. Like what/ All I hear is "remove the tax" , "give us free shit" , "everyone should have 1 billion empbucks". If I did what was asked of me, I'd please 3-4 players, but at the risk of losing many more who would get bored faster seing as they'd have everything faster and have nothing to do

That wasn't because of the vote rewards tho.
And come on, we have really good vote rewards at the moment. Seing as all you do is type a command and click twice I think the rewards are more than adequate at the moment.

In don't mind shaming.  It's a free server for us to use with a lot of good support.  Asking someone to log onto a couple sites to vote isn't asking for the moon.
