i'm doing a Propaganda poster for WW1 that should be turn in by March 21st. I have no idea what i wanted to draw, but i'm thinking you guys can be a great help :D

Green_Giant

I'll gladly help you out. With propaganda, it's important to know the following things:

- What country it's being created by.
- The purpose of the propaganda (for example, encourage conscription, encourage workforce etc.).
- Political views being shown.
- Any other important information.

Give me this information and i'll do my best. Feel free to post your current idea's down too and I can help expand upon them.

here is a site dedicated solely to WW1 propaganda http://www.ww1propaganda.com
Have a fantastic day!

NOTE: This is only because i'm doing a History project for WW1, not that I'm against the current political stands!

Well I'm trying to stand on Germany land here (sorry America, but your participation wasn't early enough XD) and I got a pun going : "De mock" in "Democracy" XD.

Oh and the questions! @Green_Giant :
 - I'm on Germany side
 - Encourage the political stand of Communists and Socialists, discourage the Democrats.
 - At this time, Germany leans towards Communism and Socialism, which is why I decided to mock the democracy side since its their enemy political stance (Allies: Great Britain, France and Russia).
 - I'm still stuck on what to DRAW, since we can't computer generate our posters!

Oh and @blalp , we can also use those, but we won't get the extra credits for "IMAGINATION" XD. Thanks for helping anyways :D

Thanks a lot guys, appreciated it :D

Those where meant as inspiration of some of the terms used, pictures draw, ect.

Communistism and Socialistism started to gain support near the end of the was, when Russia became the USSR.  Your poster could be on Protect your women and children kind of thing.
Have a fantastic day!

Ahhh, I think your play on words with "de mock", I think that's a good caption for your work. As for the style of poster you create, the bolsheviks (communists) in Russia used an artistic style known as Constructivism. I think it would be wise of you to follow this style, and mention how you used the spurces below as inspiration:

If you need more information on these sources (author's etc.) A google search should help. But yeah, I recommend using the bold red/black/cream colour scheme, the block text, and the stright lines/rectangles. Putting things at 45 degree angles also helps this effect. Also, possibly consider a photograph? Well it's up to you ofcourse. :P
