Just wondering if anyone else on SFT suffers from anxiety. I know that I've had it for a few years now and it just seems to be getting slightly worse and worse as time goes on.

:diamondsword:  :fire:  What are some experiences that you've had, due to anxiety?  :fire:  :diamondsword:

For me, I tried to give blood a couple of years ago, and as I was taking the exam to see if I was eligible or not, I began to see the lights fade and I was extremely dizzy. I then almost fell out of my chair and had to crouch over the trash can because I was horribly sick to my stomach. The Red Cross nurse then saw me almost blacking out, so she had to lay me down on a gurney and put cold towels on my head and neck, and I had to lay there for about 20 minutes before they let me leave.

Another experience is when I was first beginning to drive and I was in Northern California (so it wasn't familiar to me), and we were driving into a canyon and I was begging my mom to drive because I was nervous that I would crash, but she kept telling me that I'd do fine and that I needed to practice. But I then began to cry and I couldn't breathe because I was just worrying so much that eventually I just had to pull over and walk for a minute or two so that I could calm down. It seems kinda ridiculous, but idk, I was just having an anxiety attack.

I'm not exactly sure if I have anxiety or not. I freak out in situations people don't usually freak out in. I'll describe one instance to you. During a pep rally at school I sat down in the upper row. I hate pep rallies especially since I usually sit alone. I was nervous because I hate being by myself. I began to breathe heavily and just panic overall. My heart starting breathing loudly to the beat of the band and I was somewhat jolty. Well this time students I didn't know sat all around me. Which somewhat made it worst. I tried my best to not make any sudden movements and just silently panicked on the inside. I suck at dealing with social situations, again not sure if this is anxiety.

That would most likely be an anxiety attack, yeah. At least from what I've experienced and heard from other people with anxiety.

My mother and sister suffer from severe anxiety, but I've never bothered to ask my parents about my state. So I decided to take this online test:

Honestly, that description perfectly describes my anxiety/panic attacks the most as being the reasons for it.
But I am starting to cope with it and getting better at handling the monsters.
Are insults still insults if I agree with the statement(s)?

One day I was in class we were using computers. I had forgot my ear buds somewhere and my friend wouldn't go with me to find them. Then because I was scared to go alone, I started panicking. It took till the end of that class for the teacher to notice I was having a panic attack.

It was honestly the scariest attack I've ever had.

I had really bad anxiety 2 years ago after we moved and started at a new school because my brother was having anxiety attacks several times a week. I don't naturally suffer from anxiety, but I am terrified of throwing up. It's my biggest fear and I'll do anything to avoid it. My brother went through a time where he always thought he was going to throw up. At went from being scared but not anxious, to annoyed, to truly anxious, and starting to feel like I was going to throw up as well. Anytime my body did something unexpected I thought it was because I was going to be sick. I wasn't able to eat in the morning at all and any feeling is discomfort in my stomach left me having an attack. Probably didn't help that right before that school year I'd gotten very sick and was throwing up all night.

At some point my brother got over it, probably because of his meds and just time, and therefore, so did I. I don't freak out about it anymore unless I really feel like I might actually throw up, and I know my body a lot better now and know what's normal. Now, whenever I'm anxious it's always a combination of things. My blood sugar is usually low (as it is almost everyday in school, making me shake), something to do with my boyfriend, and needing to take a shit tbh.

I used to have social anxiety but not super severe. I've grown out of it though and I don't care anymore. If someone doesn't like me then they don't like, oh well.

Welp. I got a 71 on ome's test there. Pretty sure I don't have anxiety, but I do get anxious (if that makes sense). I'm generally pretty chilled tho

Anxiety is something i've personally never had any issues/trouble or came up in my life. Moving from city to city and making all new friends was the hardest part of my life making me not fit in but eventually i got around it. Taking classes like shop, metals and going playing sports got me into making some really great friends that we share common likes. i've grown to trust and have great times with them.

I also believe in what you do not does affect your future. And it's the reason why i don't do drugs. i've seen friends to do weed everyday(and gods knows what more)  and they're particularly  fucked in the head. And i' dont ever what to see myself in those footsteps. Stay in school, find fun hobbies to pass your time (mines cars and computers) and it'll make life a lot more easier.

I have extreme social anxiety, it was so bad when I was younger that I was a mute (I only talked to about 7 people, didn't even talk to other family members.) I currently have been taking medicine for it but I still struggle. As I've gotten older, I've gotten slightly better but it still effects my life a lot. Which is why I don't even talk much in chat in game much.

I dont have anxiety, though i can get anxious when theres an exam, drama, etc.
This week on tuesday, two of my guy friends were getting severely picked on by some guys twice their size, and i was already halfway to an asthma attack because of the weather, and even though in my weak state i pushed through people and had a huge go at these boys, even though they were three times as big as me. I was terrified as fuck, and when they left my body collapsed and basically just one of the emotional moments on tv when someone is about to die happened (no i did not almost die).
People were telling me i was crazy brave and that i looked terrifying compared to the bullies.
Man, i was just shitting myself, but loyalty to my friends comes before anythibg else, even my own safety and anxiousness of what those people could have done to me.

I've always imagined you as like a old irish man that drinks whiskey and screams at people to get off his lawn while sitting on a bench in the park. But I'm pretty sure that's not the case because if it was: 1. you're a pedophile and 2. you're a pedophile
