I just got the launcher all set up on my PC.  No sound at all.  Everything else works great.  My MC sound is on.  If I use the normal minecraft launcher sound works fine.  Still trying to figure this out.

Are you downloading the Modpack?
I have the issue where it just keeps downloading it over and over, I can send you a copy of my .sftclient, just i'll remove my player data file and you can insert yours

The only fix that I've found for the continuous loading is to delete your .sftclient file.

I have no sound, tried everything. Regular minecraft launcher works fine though.

IT does not always have sounds.  It seems like most people don't have sound. Not much else I can say about that.

I don't have sound on regular, but if I remember correctly I do have sounds on pixelmon. So no sound is probally normal.

As secure as the regular minecraft client, ignore any anti-virus warnings they just flag sometimes due to it not being a recognised author.

The sound isn't working for either Minecraft or Pixelmon and it's kinda getting annoying, I know Bogey you may be busy but please fix this ASAP

Hey all,

I just wanted to tell you all how to fix the sound problem.  I have NO idea why this has not been explained before.  I found out just being in a random skype chat.

1. Start your normal minecraft launcher.
2. Downgrade to 1.7.2
3. Start minecraft so it loads up the files.
4. Close minecraft and open the SFT launcher
5. You now have sound
