May I suggest have this as a limited time thing.  As a form of draining the economy.  If this is a forever lasting thing many people will stop buying from the online shop.

I suggest keeping it for maybe 2 weeks then stopping until needed again.

Maybe a remake of the layout of stuff in the premium shop like having pictures of the items or something will draw some more attention.

Maybe having an emp exchange where players can buy the exact amount of emp they want. ( 10,000 emp = 1 dollar)

This would have to be different on every server just to their economies but would definitely mean newer players may spend one or two dollars fairly often.

As to a lot of people this won't seem like a huge waste of money like buying 1mil emp for 10 dollars. Some people don't have that money to spend but they do have a dollar or two lying around that they are willing to spend

How about a preset plot system where every time a new player joins the server they are given a plot.

This plot is outlined with stone and can be done in either a biome format or a flat world (Let the player decide). They are also given a warp to their plot and this warp is private so only they can get to this plot. Every month that a player is inactive their plot will be removed and put back in the system to be given to a new player when they join.

This system helps with space, protection problems and etc. It also makes the area look nicer and the map better looking.

Superflat would work the best with this system and having maybe stone paths in between would be a nice touch. Also maybe giving players who are not at their own build a speed II potion so they can run around the world looking at builds.

Maybe using a buycraft system players can opt to buy bigger plot sizes which are situated in a different world but also accessible from the original spawn.

We create a fun event. (maybe like a prison) Where the sft network ip address takes you through to a different server (one set up just for this) And all the staff are given nicknames (So nobody can hate on each other afterwards) and they do crazy things (Blow people up or lock them in prison etc etc.) Pretty much have an anarchy which is forced (The redirect IP address)

Now i know this would take a long time but it might be a cool thing to do. Suddenly you want to log on survival and you are taken to the anarchy. Could be fun

What if we had a dedicated minigames server.  Where the only staff are event hosts and admins/owners.  From this server there can be portals to separate ones such as hungergames but also have minigames everywhere and active event hosts all the times (including ones for each time zone).

I'm suggesting this as sometimes people get on the Server and don't want to play survival but rather minigames when ever they want.  This server could have custom plugins to make playing games more fun.  This server can also include some solo player maps for people to play alone.
