Just came by to check on these forums - I was active in SFT from 2011-2014 ish (when I was 13-16...) and was very active in event hosting at one point! Hope everyone is keeping well  :D

What's growth been like for the server since 2012? Seems broadly the same size + survival server seems much, much smaller based on players online

Quote from: MrChanango on Jun 05, 2017, 12:51 PMWe are still in between Trump's first 100-200 days of being an official political mastermind. For all we know the Trump Administration could start solving the problem next year.

Please don't slash the Trump administration just because they haven't fixed one issue yet. Being a president is the most Prestigious and Important job in the World, I think he had a little plan for everything.

It should be clear by now that Donald Trump does not care about the environment. He's repeatedly stated that he believes climate change is a hoax. Since taking office, it's no secret that Donald Trump has been cozy with the fossil fuel industry. His cabinet picks, repealing of restraints on the fossil fuel industry, continuation of the construction of major pipelines and attempts to open national parks to oil and gas drilling reinforces this image. Despite his strongman image, Donald Trump will do whatever his donors tell him. What does the fossil fuel industry want from him? Any sane person could take a hint.

Of course I'm going to criticize him! Given his donors' stance on the issue (and his past actions), I have little reason to believe he'll do anything positive for the environment.
My opinion is that Climate Change IS a hoax, once again showing my loyalty to Trump and the president's  desicions.
You think scientists who dedicate their lives to researching climate change are making it all up?
Yup.
Just like over a billion people KNOW that scientists are making up the whole story of the entire universe being created from an infinitely small space. COUGH COUGH the big bang!
What's your argument against this? https://gyazo.com/f602f253152f9fffdaa473228ca3bbed

Coincidence?

It's fucking disgraceful. Climate change is the single greatest challenge our planet faces.

Who and why?

Some staff members seem too immature at times, and seem to have been pushed into the role even with little SFT experience just due to lack of staff.

its not just the idea of immaturity but those who take there roles for granted as a "im an manager/admin/mod now, you must respect me and il do to you what i want"
Unlike 5-7 years ago when I was playing mc, these days the target audience seems to be 5-14 year-olds, so you can't realistically expect to recruit a highly mature staff team if most of the players on mc are so young

Polls / Re: Euro Championships (Last 8)

Until today I thought Italy had looked the best, at least against Spain! Oh well :(

Quote from: GotAnError on Jun 30, 2016, 08:16 PM@Cocobutter03 Italy winning from Germany is not an upset. Germany has never won even once from Italy in a European Cup match.
To be fair it's more sensible to compare the current line-ups/form than a historical statistic

What's that thing about Mojang's commercial use thing? weird
15
A tournament with a bracket (e.g. 2-3 day event), e.g. PvP, spleef. Could also bring back Event League (official events every week that participants can earn points from and the top 8 after x no. of weeks play a play-off tournament to win a big prize)
16
Why not host one, well-planned, tournament as opposed to x no. of events? Just an idea!! e.g. 20mil EMPbuck prize-pool spleef tournament (32 players, single elimination bracket)

Quote from: GotAnError on Oct 23, 2015, 04:05 PMI cannot talk for other people, but I am just playing less because I got into other games. It has nothing to do with you or SFT.

If you ask me, Minecraft is boring and seems to be dominated by 5-12 year-olds these days. Nothing to do with SFT. Also I love CS:GO (1200 hours now!)  :)

Also in last year of secondary/high school, applying to university etc. so am busy with school (as I'm sure a lot of other people that were active when I was are)

What are you planning on doing at university next year (assuming you're intending on going to university next year)? :)
physics! the best subject
ah, very good career prospects :P I'm applying for chemistry myself. What universities have you been looking at?
ive put down nottingham, leicester, hertfordshire, surrey and loughborough with the intention of hopefully going to leicester. what about you?
Oh yes I went to the Nottingham open day (good university, but a bit big for me imo) - also Surrey has Jim Al-Khalili who is amazing. So far I've got Bath, Warwick, Durham (going to Durham open day tomorrow[6 hour drive..]) and Imperial. Not sure on the 5th yet..
