Windows 10 will support the middle-finger emoji with latest update
From NY Daily News

Windows is giving us what Apple couldn't: the middle-finger emoji.

The "reversed hand with middle finger extended" emoji will reportedly be available with the latest update to Windows 10, according to Emojipedia, the online tracker of all emoji available on different platforms. This latest addition would make Microsoft the first big tech giant to allow the use of the profane icon.

The middle-finger emoji was approved as part of Unicode 7 by the Unicode Consortium in 2004. However, no platform has incorporated it until now. The consortium is in charge of dictating the official language of emoji.

Apple released an array of new emoji last month, but neither the middle-finger emoji nor the taco emoji made the cut.

Windows will release its new emoji in gray-Window's default color â€" and in different skin tones as well.

Windows 10 is scheduled for release mid-2015. The "reversed hand with middle finger extended" emoji will be available then.
