Doesn't matter for me, I just stick it in whatever pocket. I always carry a pen, my phone, keys, and most of the time, I carry a small notepad for school. (Little reminders, due dates, etc). A lot of the time, almost all of it ends up in 1 pocket

Phone in my left pocket and keys and wallet in my right pocket if I'm wearing shorts. I'm right handed so I think I put my keys and wallet in my right pocket because I tend to use them more than my phone.

If I'm wearing pants, phone in left, keys in right, wallet in back right. Occasionally will put my phone in my back left pocket depending on where I am.

I put my phone in whichever back pocket I feel like, doesn't really matter to me too much. I never put anything in my front pockets because on all pants/shorts that I have they're too small or totally useless. If my pants don't have pockets I always tuck it into the waistband in the front.
