You can't add mods to the modpack but you can mod your client.
Look up guides on how to install optifine it's not that hard.

It doesn't work for me. When i have installed the modpack, it loads minecraft fine, but when i join sft or singleplayer, the minecraft background just flashes, any help?

Honestly I have no idea. Try deleting everything and re-installing.

I deleted the technic launcher and uninstalled all of it. I then re-installed it and i still get the flashing background. This doesn't happen with other modpacks.

Same here Here is what I am doing: Downloading launcher>Add new pack>Pasted URL>Ran Minecraft In that technic launcher. Still nothing. Am I doing something wrong?
