Due to a wave of hackers and cheaters we had to do this to prevent the hackers from ruining our fun

That is not true / not needed. The server is probably just down or full. I'll check now

i just joined up to say that im having trouble connecting as well. it just gives me a "Sorry: timed out" message. This is the first online server I've tried to join after playing a bit on single-player.

Try several times to join, log onto single player log off then try again if it doesnt work after several tries, or restart your game and try to connect. These solutions have worked for me several times.

thats not working for me, i've jumped onto single player and it continued where i left off...chose suicide, and it still wont connect. closed the game, waited for steam to turn blue then re-opened it. still timing out. i've tried changing the server ip and it gives the same error...its like its not even trying to connect before it gives me the time out message. i'll try messin with it a bit more. hopefully i can get on lol

so i can join other servers, just not this one for some reason

okay so i got in, i had to use the ip address 198.100.154.155 on the frontpage and not the Server IP: unturned.superfuntime.org

It would be more obvious if it was unturned.superfuntime.org... I doubt a new player would know what sftmc / sft would stand for if they haven't played SFT before, just saying
