Ah that's great! In some autos shops, I lag a lot because they're so big, I wouldn't want it to be any more laggy for me, or anyone else

I think this sounds quite cool, it would make auto shops look professional (and laggy)

I've been looking at 1.9 and what elytra do, and I think it's a good idea to make them not able to be shop bought, as this would encourage players to go look for them and play more (can't wait for 1.9!)

This is the first time I've heard that 1.9 was coming out (lol I'm so updated) but I am guessing there aren't any major additives (new mobs, new biomes, all that jazz) but it's just fixing some bugs and things such as that? This being that if some plugins break, they will be fixable?

The end is pretty much a new thing, dual wielding is a thing, shields, gliders and a couple ender specific new mobs

I was looking through other event ideas to see what else people had come up with out of interest, and someone mentioned boats and that triggered a seriously old faction memory.
Basically, drago, sparky and I made a game when no one else was on in this base ruin, and there were random huge pillars of water with no blocks in them, and we discovered that boats would float up these pillars of water if we could get them to balance properly. After we got up the water pillar thing (could be as low or high as you want) and we would sail off the water pillars and literally glide through the air, a bit like flying (but no hacking I will add!!) until we hit the water. The boats wouldn't break and we would do it over and over again.
From this lovely long story, you could consider "boat flying" onto a platform and whoever got there first would win, or who could get to a certain point up the water pillar.

I have an idea, feel free to reject it with full force but I had a random idea of.. Minecraft football? Two plays/two teams pushing a mob from one side of the arena to the goal or coloured square, and that team wins? Or with fishing rods idk. Like I said feel free to reject this it was just a random thought I thought I'd share xD
