Why you wish to be discord staff:

Well first off I feel that not only admins/managers should be staff on discord as they know/warrant a will to understand responsibilities with discord, but I also feel staff on discord should consist of representatives from each server.

Also I really do wonder why would you not want to retain admins/managers just to guarantee security and stability as they know how to manage and handle chats both on/off ingame and discord.

Isn't the spawn the exact same as the current world 1 on survival or am I going insane?

Let me rephrase what dpa said but in rougher terms: The entire architect team (surv + pix) failed to come up with a spawn for pix so we used Survival's.

Thats a bit harsh...

As hard as everyone tried, plus the world corrupting, in order to finally get pix out, corners had to be cut. (Like stealing survival's spawn.)

Stealing isn't the right word, were all on the same team. I would of loved to have a unique spawn special to pix but that would have never happened.

Almost 2 months of building we had maybe 4 people come online to build (I'm one of the 4), and out of those 4 only lavish, me and D-Day built anything. Never mind the fact we only had like 3 buildings built with not much else going on.

E:I can't remember if it was lavish or ilax now. Way too early

You didnt offer help until after the last map corruption, and by then you have asked a majority of the same people we already had on the project plus declaring yourself as the "head architect and planner" even though camster, dpa and myself all said you were not.

Regardless of that, as Dpa said, there was minimal contact with many of the builders we had on our team despite our best efforts. Before the map corruption, lavish, dpa and myself had almost 45% of it done before it decided to go kaput, but hopefully I can rebuild the same concept in the other world in pix (as that one will have the BiomesOPlenty world i hope)

I think what sft lacks is not events hosted, but bigger games that need plugins (such as build my thing and hunger games).

However the constant problem with this is when we do open up such a minigame server just for it, it dies off after 2+ weeks because people get tired of it and it shuts down.

So my suggestion is why not create an independent world from the event world (but still hosted on the survival server) that would only host these big events. However after a certain amount of time, it gets replaced with another big event. For example, for 1 week players can play hunger games. After that it would be replaced with build my thing for a week and so forth.

That way, these mini games are always cycled around and entices more players to join and participate in these events. Even the same can be done for adventure worlds or whatnot to change it up.

I also agree with Katherine, that although the game is fun, we should try to expand as a community to other games.

I would recommend doing some things you probably don't want to do, due to "Trying to be as close to the games as possible". Here is what i would suggest:

1) Add to your mod pack something absolutely massive, the Aether, a magical forest, SOMETHING to keep players interested in the game after that initial 100-ish hours, because honestly unless the person is willing to spend ALL of their resources on a ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE BUILD they are going to get bored, tick the completed box, and leave.

We tried this once when Dpa and myself looked into adding the Starminer and Ugocraft mods.

Although cool in perspective and a great way to add on, both test maps could barely function at all. It is like Cosmic said, that the pix mod itself (especially with the newer version and extra things it has as well) makes adding other major mods very difficult. Although we are trying to find the best side add ons to look into adding to the new version, this will probably be highly unlikely unless everything miraculously clicks and the server can handle over 2+ gb of space to just run smoothly.

The one issue that seems to be constant is the emp.

I mean it is useful to get certain items that may be needed. However, because it is an open pit of getting endless money, you can just keep selling.

Maybe try a ban of selling certain things to the emp such as diamond/ores and only allow buying?

I would believe option 3 is the best solution in a way.

However I would suggest for the 6 pokemon that you shouldnt be allowed to have them all be legends (for example 1 person wants to keep 6 Kyogres). Have a limit in place to where you can have only 1 legend out of the 6 you pick.

Just the fear that people who will pick all legends can then damage the economy immediately.

I am sorry for not wanting a national criminal to appoint up to 3 new supreme court justices as well as federal judges etc., who has also already proven that she doesn't respect her office of Secretary of State. Look at what she got away with before, look at the executive orders Obama has issued and gotten away with, what do you think she would attempt as president.

The only thing I'm going to argue about this position is that you need to remember that the only reason so many executive orders were issued is because of the lack of effort Congress has performed in the last 4 years. With the house/senate being so focused on having their own way or the highway, nothing to little was done on issues. So yeah you are correct Clinton might have done just as many executive orders, but not because it was abused, but because nothing was done.

Also with the supreme court justices, its sad that those in congress would wait for over 7 months just to see who would win to appoint the new justice. It is the job of the congress to vote on one whether republican or democrat; to be unbiased and willing to give a chance to those first. Even if someone has a different stance, it does not mean we should be willing for potentially 4 years to leave a vacant seat if your opponent wins the presidency.

To me I find sadness in the way this was all done. Here is a man that removed all the standards that a president elect should do and we ignored it. He inflamed hatred, bigotry and paranoia, but expects everyone to ignore that issue.

Although I love my country and will still support it, I will find if hard to trust it in the hands of a person who takes insults like a declaration of war and has constantly encoraged to be like Russia

I think honestly is that we need to branch out to other games to try to see if we can get anywhere out of that.

Some ideas such as

Rocket League (making a group and playing as a team)
Lego Worlds (if multiplayer is possible there)
Planet Explorers
Guns of Icarus
Gang Beasts

even Gmod or TF2 would not be bad ideas to find ways to make things fun and committing

what do you mean by moving the spawner for pixelmon to this world? do you mean pokemon will only spawn in this world? or do you mean the server spawn point is there?

Yes, he means pokemon will only spawn in that world.
However, if lag allows it, he will leave spawn enabled in World1 too.

then will the ta be moved? or is there already a new one built?

More likely will just move the current Ta to the new world and maybe redesign some stuff there

Hey guys so in case you haven't been browsing the pix forums lately, the new spawn for Pixelmon is about done! However there is one thing that we need your help with!

You see, in this new spawn there will be a Mini Poke-zoo of sorts where you can see selected pokes! However.....


We have NO idea which Pokemon should be in this zoo.


SO, that's where you come in!

Tell us what Pokemon you think should be in this zoo, and whatever ones we see as the best choice, will do our best to implement them in! There are a few catches though....

+ There will be 5 zones only! (one of which will either be an aquarium or birds nest)

+ All the zones MUST be a different Biome/style difference! (So think bug=forest etc.)

+There will be NO two same types at the zoo (sorry dragon lovers out there!)


We might eventually change the Pokemon out every now and then, but this is for the beginning of spawn honors! So be creative and think of what pokes you think should be at this zoo!

(I would prefer to have an idea of what types I should be getting ready to build for to get this spawn done! So there will be deadline by Aug. 14th for all entries!)

I would throw out some games where maybe we could just be groups of friends hanging out on Steam such as:

Guns of Icarus

Rocket League

Lego Worlds (if it implements multiplayer)

Gang Beasts (currently Beta multiplayer)

if none of  those maybe return to TF2?
