Does the sft client still have that custom cape thing?
The new Mojang EULA prohibits giving custom capes, so no.

I just got the launcher all set up on my PC.  No sound at all.  Everything else works great.  My MC sound is on.  If I use the normal minecraft launcher sound works fine.  Still trying to figure this out.
I've updated the launcher, see if it works now.

Btw when will the client be updated with the custom menu and zoom again?
When bogey has time. Hopefully within the next few days :)
It's not about my time. I'm waiting on MCP to be updated. MCP is the tool I use to decompile Minecraft into readable code. The last major update changed - though it might not seem so on the outside - pretty much every single thing in the game code. The MCP team (just a couple of guys) basically had to start from scratch, they need time to understand the code and give names to things that (if Minecraft is just decompiled) have names such as "a" or "ab".

i don't know whats going on with mine. i am using viper, the Razer Game Booster. but that sould not be the problem. works just fine with others.
steps:
download it,
run it,
install all the choices,
chose [sft client (optifin)],
put in name and password,
gets: unable to cunnect minecraft.net. go off line?
clicks yes,
nothing ever comes up.

i am sorry if i am an idiot.

Minecraft login servers are down right now.

the log in screen is like Spout craft...
I used Spoutcraft launcher's open source code and adapted it to my needs.

i wish we would be able to fly

Use /fly, the flymod on the client is unreliable because of Bukkit. If you still want it, drop me a PM with your in game name and I will enable it on your client.

I hope you can excuse the adf.ly links, it's the least I can do to get something in return (besides your love) :>
