Hey guys, we are pleased to announce that Bedwars is now going to be officially a part of our SFT server starting Tomorrow at 8PM BST / 3PM EST!

To celebrate launch, we will be hosting a bedwars tournament with the winner(s) receiving a custom item on survival as well as an official post for the upcoming history board on our forum.

To keep the server from dying within a week, we're keeping the whitelist on except for weekend events or if enough people agree to play,  if you have a group of more than 6 people any global manager+ can turn it on for you. We also plan to introduce new minigames depending on demand to keep the server exciting!

When the event begins, you can type /server minigames to travel there!

[PyroFishing Guide]

PyroFishing Guide

Since a lot of people have been getting into PyroFishing recently and the old guide is outdated, I decided to make a new one!


1. What is PyroFishing?:

PyroFishing is a much-loved plugin throughout SFT which gives you more to do with fishing. If you haven't already, you should try it! Its a lot of fun!


2. How to Start:

By fishing! A good place to start is to plan towards getting one of the top vanilla rods possible - this will help you massively. (Lure 3, Luck of the Sea 3, Unbreaking 3 and Mending)

The more you fish, the more your fishing level increases and the more entropy you gain. These things are essential to getting Augments (custom enchantments for your rod!)

You can sell fish by typing /fish shop
You can earn extra entropy by typing /fish gut
To view your entropy type /fish entropy - this is more or less the currency you will need for creating augments

TIP- Don't sell any Platinum or Mythical fish you might catch! They're important for a lot of things when you progress as a fisher


3. Augments:

Augments are "enchants" for your fishing rod. You will need to bear in mind three things to "craft" an augment;
> The ingredients (the ingredients listed on /fish augments or down below)
> Entropy (Do you have enough entropy? Check with /fish entropy)
> Your fishing level (Is your fishing level high enough? Check with /fish menu

Once you have the correct amount of all three things, you can pursue crafting an augment! (Hot Spot is a good place to start). To craft an augment you will need to throw all of the ingredients (exact amounts!) into a cauldron full of water before left-clicking it with your rod. Assuming you have all of the listed things above, you will be given the augment.

You can now type /fish augment to craft the fishing rod with the augment!

4. Totems:

For the more advanced fishers, totems are a good way to enhance your fishing experience. You can make a totem by building the following structure:

After building it, you will have to have the correct ingredients in your inventory before it can be activated. This is quite expensive and is recommended more for the fishers with more experience;

> 16 Crab Claws
> 16 Crab Scales
> 16 Squid Tentacles
> 16 Dolphin Tails

Once you have activated your totem you will be able to rick click it to view various upgrades you can do, though these come at a large cost (mythical fish & lots of entropy)

The new servers for modded are approaching (Stoneblock 2 & MCEternal) and we are looking for people to help test both of these packs.

What needs to be tested:

• What crashes the server
• Problems with mods/items
• General issues with how things work
• Various other things that may arise

You will only be picked if you have at least 50hours on modded. Anyone who abuses any glitches found in beta or uses this opportunity maliciously will be banned with no chance of returning.

After the recent polls have been voted on in the #modded-feedback discord channel, the conclusion has been made as to which pack will be replaced.

What will the replacement be?

The new idea is: The new pack will be temporary. The idea is we will be rotating modpacks every once and a while. When the server starts losing popularity, we will switch to a different modpack. This gives the chance for multiple different types of modpacks, all of which will be picked upon player decision.

We have composed a list of 9 modpacks for our first rotation, which are listed above for voting. The top voted pack will be the next modpack on our server. The poll ends in 7 days

Chat Rules:

1. Do not insult players or staff - Treat others how you would like to be treated.

2. Don't overuse or spam curse words - Curse words are allowed as long as they aren't directed at anyone or used in an excessive manner.

3. Don't use discriminatory language - Language that may be deemed offensive, such as: racism, sexism and homophobia are strictly forbidden.

4. Do not spam chat - Sending excessive messages or characters is not allowed.

5. Do not advertise other servers - Advertising other servers unrelated to SFT is a bannable offence.

6. English only in main chat - Languages other than English can be used in private messages or chats, however main chat is English only.

7. A staff member's decision is final - While provoking is allowed, if a player is distressed and asks you to stop and/or a staff member tells you to stop in any situation and you continue to persist, this will result in time bans.

8. Ban evading/discord - If you have been banned, logging in using an alt/talking on the Factions server through discord is not permitted.


A final note. -  As a general rule to go by, if you think what you're saying isn't right, you have bad intentions or you are close to breaking the rules, you probably are. Bear this in mind when disciplinary action is taken.

Server Rules:

1. No abusing glitches / duping items - If you find a glitch, please report it to an FMod privately. Using glitches to your own advantage is not allowed.

2. No hacked clients - The use of clients to give an unfair advantage over other players is prohibited.

3. No x-ray mods or texture packs- Using modifications for x-raying is a bannable offence.

4. No nether portal raiding - Creating a nether portal that spawns in someone else's base is against the rules.

5. No enderpearl glitching - Using or attempting to glitch into or out of an area using enderpearls is classed as an unfair advantage and is therefore punishable.

6. No extremely laggy machines - FMods and Admins will determine whether your machine is too laggy or not. If you're unsure, please contact one to prevent any punishments.

7. Do not logoff inside an enemies base - When logging off, you must be outside of enemy bases.

8. Do not use macros or autoclickers - Using any modifications to enhance your PvP skills such as autoclickers and macros are giving a massive unfair advantage and will result in a ban.

9. Do not use a second faction to claim around a primary faction's claim - Using other accounts to create different claims is not allowed.

10. Do not attempt to block glitch - Attempting to block glitch carries the goal of abusing glitches or harming the server, both of which are punishable offences and in no way acceptable.

11. Do not use Cobblestone Monsters - They cause extreme lag to the server and destroy the map.

12. Do not use alternate accounts to store items - This is an unfair advantage towards other players as it makes your items unraidable.

13. Factions are only allowed to have 4 placed silk spawners - This means that across all warps, all spawners, and the entire faction only 4 silk spawners can be placed at a time. This does not include natural spawners that have not been moved

14. No using creeper eggs to bypass water - Using creeper eggs to destroy obsidian or stone bricks that are covered with water will be considered the same as block glitching and is not allowed.

• Golden Apples are disabled
• Wither explosions are turned off
• Enderpearls have a 16 second cooldown
• Claiming in the end is disabled
• Creeper eggs are the only item enabled in enemy territory
• Your faction is raidable for an hour after you log off

Download the technic launcher from here.

Step 2

Login using your minecraft details (email & password)
You should now receive a screen looking like this:

Click "Modpacks" as highlighted in the image.

Step 3:

You will now need to allocate ram to the launcher

Go to the "Launcher Options"


Then click "Java Settings"


Then scroll down on the Memory section, allocate as much as you want, though it must be at least 3gb ram allocated to make it run. DO NOT allocate more than half of your total ram (total ram will be 0.5mb more than the total you can use)

IF the maximum you can allocate is 1gb then you only have Java 32, in which case download Java 64 bit here.

Step 4:

Search for the "The 1.7.10 Pack" on the launcher, it should be the one with lots of gold as the picture.
Once downloaded, the IP address is: games.superfuntime.org:1338

It may also be a good idea to download some extra mods for the pack, eg Optifine & fpsPlus. These can be found here.

Adding them to your Game:
1. Open your File Browser
2. Type %appdata% in the search bar
3. Click .technic
4. Click modpacks
5. Click The 1.7.10 Pack (must be downloaded)
6. Click mods

Untrusted - This rank is when you are banned, you only get the following commands:
  /money - Views your money only, you can't pay anyone.
  /pstats

Default:
  /spawn - Takes you to the spawn in the world you are in.

Hello BTeam Players!

Due to a recent decision from the Owners, W2 will no longer be supporting backups. This means that if the world becomes corrupted, the chance is your base may be removed and gone completely.

If you need help with moving your base or other materials, contact a Manager+. In some cases, other staff ranks can help too.

Its still un-certain if the world will become corrupted any time soon, but if you want to be safe make sure to move everything you want to W1.

The event teams of all servers have been planning a Global SFT Event recently. The event will be based upon the film/book: ReadyPlayerOne.
There will be 4 servers participating in this event:

• Survival
• BTeam
• 1.7.10
• Pocket

There will be prizes per server for those who cant access the others, and bigger prizes for completing all servers  (pocket won't be required).

What does being in a team mean?
Every member in your team will receive the same prize if you were to win. (not just one person)

If you wish to participate in a team you must make sure you meet these requirements:
- Teams are to be no more than 3 members.
- ALTs (alternative accounts) are NOT allowed. Doing this to potentially receive extra rewards will result in a BAN.

Hello 1.7.10 players!

My 1.7.10 is crashing everytime I log in/crashes on the launcher
This is just a list of possible fixes, if these do not work you can make a post about your problem.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the modpack-
Obvious how to do this

Give more RAM to Java/Technic-
1. Click the cog button to go to launcher settings
2. Press on Java settings
3. Click on the memory part, and set it to 3GB (MINIMUM!)
P.S - make sure you're using 64bit Java, 1.7.10 will not run otherwise

Why can't I craft an item?
More than likely the item you're trying to craft is banned.

I tried to place an item and it disappeared?
Some items need more space to be placed.
Normally it is placed back into your inventory and relogging makes it show again.
If it doesn't show after relogging then it has glitched out, and you can possibly get a refund from a Manager+.
Note: lying to gain items will result in a BAN.

How do I stop people from griefing my stuff?
1. Type /pos1 and /pos2 at either corner of where you want your claim.
2. Type /claim to create the claim. All info such as adding members, deleting the claims, list of claims, etc are also displayed by typing /claim or /cm.

Claims DONT go from bedrock to sky so you will need to worry about the Y coordinate.

My friend can't open any chests or build on my claim!
Just type /claim or /cm, this will open the gui which allows you to manage your claim.

Staff are chosen by current staff. To even be considered you must meet the following requirements.

A Manager is someone who successfully got promoted from Mod.

Engineer:

• Moderating the chat and resolving disputes (also a JMod duty)
• Most of the things JMods also do

A Mod is someone who was successfully promoted from JMod.

• Helping players who need it
• Stopping hackers
• General assistance and helping point players to the correct staff member

A JMod is someone who was successfully chosen to be staff.

Duties expected of an EventHost:

• All JMod duties

What Is BBCode?
BBCode stands for Bulletin Board Code and is a lightweight markup language used to format posts. The available tags are usually surrounded with square brackets, such as [ b ].


Basics
Closing tags often use the same as the opening, just with a / at the beginning, ie: [ b ] [ /b ]
NOTE: The brackets don't need spaces, its just to show the code.

NOTE: When using bbcode the order doesn't matter however the order must match in reverse order.
For example if you use bold then italics then you must close italics first followed by bold.
[ b ][ i ]example[ /i ][ /b ]

To make something bold, you type:
[ b ]example[ /b ]
Bold Text looks like this

To make something underlined, you type:
[ u ]example[ /u ]
Underlined text looks like this

To make something italic, you type:
[ i ]example[ /i ]
Italic text looks like this

To give something a strike-through, type:
[ s ]example[ /s ]

Adding Colors

Colours can also be added to your text, this can be done pretty easily:

Sizes, Fonts and Alignment

Sizes

Sizes can be added to your text, this can be used to create smaller messages, or larger ones for titles.
The default size is 2 and the maximum is 7

To change a size, type:
[ size = 4 ]this is changing sizes[ /size ]

The sizes look like this:

Fonts

As well as size, you can add fonts to your text. This can simply be done like this:

Inserting a clickable spoiler can be done by typing,

Horizontal lines to seperate sections can simply be made by doing [ hr ]
One will be shown to separate this section and the next.


TABLES GUIDE

Tables are a great way to format a post and clean up the layout but they can be tricky to understand at first.

Opening and closing a bracket set before writing anything is a great way to minimize problems.
Again, for this example, spaces are used so the formatting can be viewed outside of the text editor.

NOTE: The formatting as seen above can also be used in a table to further add to the looks of the post.

[ table ] declares that everything until the [ /table ] is to be inside the tables.
[ tr ] and [ /tr ] declare that the text is part of a row. This goes outside a set of [ td ] text
[ td ] and [ /td ] sort the information into appropriate columns.
You can make the table with as many rows and columns as can fit. Just be sure that the brackets match from beginning to end.
When combined they look like this:

Recently B-Team has had a decline in people interested in events, from some private conversations with a few individuals, the main reason concludes to be the fact events aren't fun / are boring. In conclusion of what's just been said, the following would be appreciated:

Event ideas/suggestions (big or small)
Any improvements that you would like to be made to current events.
Any improvements that you think could be made to improve events as a whole.

Finally, I'd just like to remind everyone of a few things:

Don't be afraid to ask for an event, any staff member is willing to try and host one.
Events can be small or big, they could last up to a couple of days!
Players can host events in the EventWorld under supervision of a Mod+. Don't be afraid to ask.
Players can build their own events if they wish! They can run these events without supervision of staff members. (Not in the EventWorld) .

Overall, our team are interested in how we can make events more fun for you, so please leave your ideas/improvements!

If you haven't already heard, I plan on starting a big building project and hope that a lot of the community could contribute to making this a thing. Currently, I've had some ideas on what the project could be based around but none are set in stone. Now, you will need to locate the co-ordinates where the second key is hidden. (assuming you've found the 1st). Do this by looking through key posts on the bteam forum and following this:

• A block/item such as `stone` may be in a post, find the ID of the item(s) and put them together as co-ordinates. Once located the co-ordiantes, go to them in WORLD2. (the order of the co-ordinates should be stated, eg Stone(1) (first co-ords).

There you will find your key.

You will then need to message AtomicPulse the co-ords and he will give you the password to enter the room.
