Back then, just like now, there were a lot of 14 year old kids (and younger) on the server. Heck, I was a mod at the age of 14-15. Age is a good indicator of the maturity of a person, but not a perfect one. But... yeah. Back then a lot of the staff consisted of adults (or people who atleast seemed older). I didn't feel very mature next to them.

I don't know the procedure when it comes to choosing staff these days, but back then it was a huge honor to be chosen, almost handpicked, from the community. Perhaps something has changed... I don't know. Haven't played actively for something like 6-7 years ago.

Quote from: BioPh33r on Aug 28, 2015, 08:15 PMa possible Battlefield 4 Platoon(clan) and a possible 16-32 man server.
We had a BF4 server once. Noone ever played on it.

Also remember when we had a BF3 server, after we really really wanted one.
I was really excited. Played one or two matches on the server.

Quote from: copen6199 on Aug 27, 2015, 10:39 PMa forum for other games such as mobile games like clash of clans or boom beach so players of sft can also use this community to have clans and stuff on games like that
The Arcade is pretty much that

I was referring more to sub forums for the arcade i guess you could say.

Have a list of options to chose from instead of every thing bunched into one place

Well, there are some problems attached to that proposition.

1. There would have to be moderators for each and every option.

If the moderator has interest for the game, then he/she could be an important factor in the community actually starting to play the game. If the "subforum" has no moderation, or one person is tasked on moderating all of them there would be little interest from the moderator to keep the "sub" going.

2. It would only last for a couple of months.

Most games, except for some, come and go like fashion. Most games people play, they almost always play because their friends do the same thing. If no-one else is playing, and you are not super interested in the game, then you most likely will stop. For a lot of games this period last a couple of months, before a new, more popular, and sometimes better game arrives.

If you look at the games that have boards already, most of them are almost abandoned. These are very popular games, but people lose interest in keeping a "sub", or shall we say "board" from now on.

3. We already have "The Arcade".

See the two above, and think... We already have the problem solved. "The Arcade" allows for all you ask of, and all you need it to actually use it for its purpose.
As long as you yourself create the interest for a game, and for clans and so forth, "The Arcade" is a place of wonders and miracles. You can do it!

This became a long text. I love writing. If you disagree with anything up above, you are welcome to tell me, or not.

Parliament probably won't allow another referendum for another 20 years or so.

I'll be shocked if there's another referendum in the next 30-40 years.

If there is one before I turn 60, I'll be pretty surprised!
