Players of Survival, what can I do?

What I'm getting from this, is that people are running out of ideas to have fun on the server, and ideas to add to the server. Honestly you can't just keep going round in circles like this.

This is my own opinion but new players seeing posts like this could think "oh this server is old and boring now, I'll go somewhere else".

Honestly if you think about it, back a few years ago there were more players, and from a LOT of people's personal opinions they have all said "this server has changed a lot", and currently player base is decreasing. That means something doesn't it? (I mean that if those old players stayed because they liked it before, we could use this information to make new players stay like they did)

Basically I'm saying, people seemed to like it the way it used to be, constantly adding and changing the server isn't going to help much, this is going too fast. Like if you eat too much chocolate, you're going to feel sick and stop, while if you eat too little, you're going to want more. You just need that perfect spot, and keep it for a long while.

What I just said is probably unpopular opinion but, it's how I feel when I see things like this.



P.s - sphere town was pretty popular from what I've heard, maybe get that back and make a video on it?
P.p.s- maybe re-vamp the mob arena? The boss mobs take FOREVER to kill and it's really boring waiting for them to die, could reduce their Heath.

I wouldn't be opposed to creating yet another Spheretown. If the people want it, I'm down to do another one.

This being said, I don't remember the last time someone mentioned it outside of this topic, so I don't know if it's really the idea we need. I take this back, there was a fairly lengthy conversation about Spheretown while I was on today, so maybe it is the right idea.

But hey, let me know if you want me to work on one.

This question has been asked for years, but no mods or plugins won't change the facts that it's still Minecraft. You can't just keep milking it, when there are other game servers that could be hosted. How about stop focusing on Minecraft so much, and start working on something bigger, outside Minecraft, instead of just releasing a dedicated servers of any games, without adding anything to it, like we've done for the past 5 years.

For Creative:
I made be a super nerd, but I think if you ever did something based around role play, for creative, that everyone would like it more. I forget the name of it, but there is a Role Plugin.

I like the whole role play idea, but how / why would you implement it into a creative environment as oppose to a survival environment where quests and questing gear is a goal for your survival activities?

I had an idea a while back to make an underwater pvp type minigame. So kind of like hunger games with an Atlantis feel. You would like warp to several different submarines and then open the "hatch" and try to get others. However, I don't know how well people respond to pvp based minigames on survival.

A full reset WILL happen just not in the short to meduim term.
We would lose too many players right nwo and I have to constantly outweigh the benefits to the risks (aka how many returning players we'd get vs how many players we'd lose).

To be honest, I'd love a full reset myself, I'm just too scared

just apply for /vanilla no goes to vanilla anyways but there ARE some rules you'll need to follow and keep promise to since it's vanilla.

This, and the fact that we have this same discussion about what we can do for survival every other month. I liked survival more when it wasn't so bloated with plugins. Sure, some are nice to have but there's too many nowadays.

I feel we've become blinded about what we are: A gaming community. It's about time we give some attention to other game servers out there. We're overly focused on Minecraft when there are plenty of other games that can be hosted here.

I'd also suggest expanding the Economy system, which would allow more interactivity for players, and also some other things to connect to the real world. And I think that the furniture should have more purpose as well.

There should be an eventhost chasing one player at a time, and there should be signs saying "750 meters" and other things like that, in the real Mobile App. Whoever makes it the furthest would be the winner. The people get caught pretty much by slowing down at a turn, and I think the turns should be short and sharp and sudden as it progresses, or like the real game, have some parts one block wide. It would take long, bet there should be either a limit of players, or there should be invisible blocks, so waiting players could get entertained. But, to make it less of a patience test, there could also be a whole group running, but that would be harder to handle as some players may get in each other's way.

@Calaurix_95 SFT are not the developers of the Furniture Mod on the Spigot forums you can tell the dice Furniture plugin to add more stuff in the plugin also it requires alot of code to develop a plugin more than making a map Which I am a Map maker but It is only using ONLY ONE COMMAND Creators creations like IJAMinecraft's TheRedEngineer's and Ciamp's creations.

If you want to start all over again nothing is stopping you. Delete all your items, and don't use any of your perms. A full reset would r eally split the community a lot, and I don't think it really would ever be the same again.

I wasn't talking about permissions, only items, buildings, EMP.
