I don't think you need to add more sections. If someone specifies what they need, someone will be able to help. It doesn't need to be more than it is right now. It doesn't need to be even more complicated.

I agree and that's why I think this isnt neccesary. It just requires people to be specific with their units, etc. I'm gonna lock this. If anyone else has anything to say message me but this wont become a thing.

Ok so I found a huge problem im going to start with. In english some people are from different countries so they spell/do stuff differently to others. I know there are some rules that Americans have that say Australians don't have, how will that be covered? Also on the topic of rules here is my suggestion, making a page for all sorts of rules like spelling rules, maths rules and all that so people wont have to ask for them in every topic, they can just look at the one topic which has them all!

I really don't think this is a problem but I may be wrong. I just don't think it's necessary or will add anything. You're idea barely makes sense to me. I don't mean to be rude but like why?

The midpoint formula is Midpoint = (x₁+x₂)/2 , (y₁+y₂)/2

Since you know the midpoint, you can sub in one of the coordinates' x number.

K: (6, -12)

6 + x / 2 = 0

Solve for x.

This will be the x coordinate of your missing point.

Do the same for y.

K: (6, -12)

-12 + x / 2 = -7

Solve for y.

Your result for L is (x,y).

Btw, when I write / 2, it is all over 2 (aka division, which means multiply by that number on both sides).

What if you don't know some grade level curriculums? For example, I'm a student in middle school, so I don't really know high school/university curriculums.

Well then just like say in your appliation what youre good at.

So why do you need specialists if you can just tag them on forums (@djkirsh)? Lol. I'm not understanding. Why limit it to one person when this section is meant for everyone to help you?

Like, I'm not a specialist in chemistry, but I still know chemistry. I'm not a specialist in math, but I still am good at it.

The specialists are for very precise and more exclusive stuff. The regular board is more for general stuff. Also if they want they can still post about it on the forums. They don't have to pm the specialists. Its really for go to people. If someone has a quick question they can just message the person or even see if they are online in game then talk to them. How do you determine whether they are a specialist or are just saying they're a specialist to make people have the wrong answers (aka trolls)?

Like personally, I can prove that I've mastered the English language by sending you links to 50+ of my published works.

Ill add a proof area I guess. I also was gonna use the month to see who is good and who is not.

 Starting today, we are getting study corner specialists. We will try this for one month. At the end of the month, I will decide if the specialists are or aren't necessary. I like the idea! You could maybe add a sticky topic named: Post your strong and weak subjects.
People can post their strong and weak subjects.

I like this idea also! Sorta like a post your face thing. Maybe I'll just do post your favorite subject and why.

I don't think there should be "specialists." Once people start replying to topics, we'll start to figure out who is reliable in what subject.

This thing just started off, so you don't want to take any big steps right now in my opinion.

Also, there's no way to prove that they are actually an expert in that subject. I think it's just best to let people have free reign over the entire section.

On that note: if anyone wants me to edit a short essay for them or something that needs special attention to grammar, spelling and syntax, just tag me in the post using @djkirsh and I will help you.

Intersting... I like your proposal but I'm probably gonna do whatever the vote shows that people want. If I go though with it, it'll only last a month as a trial period. Then I'll go from there

I hope everyone is doing well in life and in school! Green_Giant suggested the following idea for Study Corner:

Suggestion: How about having a couple of people for each subject who would be the "go to" people for that subject? If a person has any issues on a particular subject but don't want to make a post about it, these could be some dedicated people who they could ask about it via pm etc. It could be a separate stickied topic of list, having the subject and then the names of the specialists below them. I would nominate myself as a History specialist.

I think this is a great idea! The way it'll work is if lets say you have a particular academic issue you can pm the specialist for that subject. After messaging them you could set up a meeting of some sort on skype or somthing of that matter. But if you think you have something that is broader then submit it here on the board. We will try this for about a month then I'll decide if we will keep it or not.

But first I wanna know what you guys think of this idea! So feel free to do the poll or say your opinion in the comments.
