Quote from: Towelie on Jul 08, 2018, 04:29 PMWe will transfer over a few of the biggest autoshops, NOT INCLUDING THE ITEMS IN THEIR CHESTSWhat about a public spawner or 2? (shame less plug -wolfspawner)
Quote from: Towelie on May 26, 2018, 09:28 AMI've selected the people I thought would be best for this project. If you still need people, I'm always down to try new things and give feed back.
I am currently not looking for any other beta testers except Legends with a lot of experience in mcMMO / SFTMMO
Thank you everyone for applying, and if you weren't chosen, don't worry, you will see this project in a couple of months.

Quote from: Bug on Jan 31, 2017, 05:54 AMWhile Autoshops are convenient, I think we should implement a tax on autoshop owners, as payment for the convenience, and to encourage player shops to be used more.Like the 20$~ irl or like 10mil in game that you have to or would have had to spend to get it.
Quote from: Consum on Jan 30, 2017, 07:32 PMWith regards to the variable tax rate, wouldn't smart rich players just stockpile wealthy items, continue being rich and evade the majority of the tax anyway? Since they have large numbers of assets but low physical monetary value.Yea thats also a thing.
Quote from: Stoovs on Jan 30, 2017, 09:18 AMThe only thing I have a 100% full objection to is something like this (I've seen it a few times now). Im being completely honest here and going to say something like this is bull shit. Why do people who work very hard for their money have to give more of it away? and people who don't work for money don't have to give any? (disclaimer: I'm working off of 2 extremes, I'm not saying all poor people don't work hard for money and I'm not saying all rich people work for their money. but most times it is like this) if you have *exaggerated* someone working 20h a day and making 40mil or someone who works 1h a day and makes 100k, why would the one who works more have to pay more, just because they have more money? thats just not fair in my opinion. The poor only have a few dollars to spend and they're going to want to keep as much of it as they can. The only problem that would occur here is people forcing themselves into lower tax brackets so they don't have the higher tax.
- Create a variable tax rate (Lower for poor players, higher for richer)
Quote from: GotAnError on Dec 04, 2016, 06:08 PMExactly, I'm pretty sure, but not 100% sure, I remember someone saying villagers are "easy" to change trades and stuff.Quote from: maxwolf28 on Dec 04, 2016, 05:47 PMI would like to see trading with villagers come back.
Afaik, this was taken out as it massively destroyed the economy.
However, why not bring back a tweaked version?

With sft's economic state it is very easy to make 1mill, stop being lazy, go mine for 5h a week, you will get 1mill so easy. Like think about what you said, if you can't ill tell you how most people see (can't speak for everyone but at least me and many others do. people who work for money have to pay more. people who don't work for money have to pay less. now, does that seem more fair then a set price that isn't insane?
sorry this is just a quick rant.
One of the main things I do on survival is mine, but I don't do it just to get a ton of cash I do it because I like mining and I like having the materials.
You may be rich af or whateve, but if staff apparently want to "drain money because of the huge money gap" but then make someone with less money pay the same as someone with tons of it, that's not really gonna make a difference in the gap.
Some people don't want to play survival for the sole reason of money, must mine for money, must sell for money, must do this for money.
Just because I, or other people don't have wads of cash because every single little pinprick of our efforts goes into money doesn't mean we're ruddy lazy. And these people also include established players too.
I for one can actually pay for my three builds to be moved, but others aren't so lucky.
Also, people keep saying that it's so easy to get 500k to 1 mil in a day, and now it's stretched to a week, and I wouldn't say "5 hours of straight mining" is very fun.
A lot of people aren't actually willing to take on board what I'm saying and are just trying to argue back at me.
If you're so sure that draining the economy of money is a good thing - why are you then saying it's unfair to take money off the rich people who are one reason for the massive money gap. I know they've worked hard for the money believe me I do, but taking money off the people who don't have that much - worked for it or not - is not going to help this money balance which for some reason has come into moving builds.
And believe it or not, 500k to 1mil is a lot for some people!
I remember when 20k was a lot to me and I thought I was rich!
Just because it's not a lot to you doesn't mean it's a lot for others.
