Oh man I picked a great time to check in. Passed my 10 year mark this March. So many good memories from this place. Also, I was the person whose wedding party curiousartist referred to in his post, lol. Made some lifelong friends from this community for sure.

And I can't believe I recognize every name who has responded so far. Seeing lots of us grown up, married, with kids, etc is great. 

I'm late to this news, having been away from the server for awhile, but this is devastating to read. Gary was a fixture of SFT for years and always fun to play and talk with. I'll remember him fondly, as I'm sure we all will.

The same thing but when you warp it automatically does it for you while you wait 2 seconds to actually be teleported, I'd say 15 euros.

That can be accomplished with some quick typing or a macro... which I've already set for myself. :3

Anyway, this plugin is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. Worth the money.

Maybe it's just my optimism speaking, but... I don't think this is terrible in every aspect. I imagine Microsoft has quite a few developers ready to get their hands on Minecraft. At the very least, they could make some improvements to quite a few of the bugs (from lighting errors to x-ray glitches) that have been around for years that Mojang never bothered to deal with.

To be perfectly honest, I wasn't that excited for 1.8. Sure there was new stuff, but that's just it. I wasn't really hyped up about it.

Agreed. New biomes? I'd be pretty excited. This? Meh.

1.8 is fun and all, but honestly it's more fun in single player where you can just mess around with world settings. xD

Do you have a lot of time on your hands? I hope so, because today you'll be needing quite a bit of it. This event will be very simple -- but it will take a very long time. The rules are very few: simply stand on the tower, don't kill others, and don't fall off. You could do that all night... provided you have the time. This game simply boils down to who is willing to wait longer than anyone else to claim the prize. The prize, by the way, is worth about 750,000emp... so it may be worth your time. Be there tonight at 6:00pm GMT -6 and get ready to put your endurance to the test.
