ArmA 3: Altis Life Server in development

@ExconHD  and I (mostly I) are working on an Altis Life server for SFT.
This server is hosted on a machine rented specifically for it (paid for half by sft half by excon and costs ~56 CAD / mo) .
The specs are: Xeon (i7 equivalent), 32GB RAM, RAID0 of SSDs, 1gbps, hosted in US

The server is currently set up in vanilla form, we are working on adding some mods/scripts to it. @ExconHD will post a guide soon and we will announce the ip later on.

I cannot talk shit about your knowledge of arma servers because I don't knowwhat you can and can't do but don't go around saying I don't have experience with arma servers. I don't like working on arma servers, that's an entirely different thing. And let's not make this a pissing contest over who knows what.

May I add that this server is running on linux? Running on Linux vs. Windows doesn't make it any better lol.
In fact, you can have top tier server hardware and the server will still run like garbage due to the ArmA engine being poorly made.
There's a way to alleviate the issue but I'm sure Excon the expert here knows all about it.
At any rate, I really don't care anymore about this, if you want Excon to run your server, that's fine, but don't come messaging me for help.

No body said it made it any better. However it offers unique challenges that had to be overcome. That wouldnt have been an issue with Windows. I would have atleast appreciated your help with this but youve been nothing but negative and condescending the entire time.

I'll admit theres a chance the server will fail. But I'm sure as hell going to and already have put a lot of effort into it to give it its best chance
