A Spigot 1.8 release is imminent. I'd say before the end of this month.
After it's out, it would take us at least a week, at most 2 weeks to get our server updated.
NOTE: I don't know exactly what we will do to get fresh 1.8 blocks, still being determined.

Amazing!

best option for the new blocks is have them boost the economy by only being able to get them at emp, that is until the new world comes :)

No one has even mentioned a reset lol. Sure it'd be the best option but even tow has said he hasn't decided on what to do.

Some of the blocks can be crafted with different items (ie. diorite, granite).
