Still kicking it. Good to see so many familiar faces

Crazy to see so many old names from my childhood.

I joined in March 2013 and spent most of my time on the Tekkit 1.2.5 server before switching to the main server after it was closed. It brings joy to my heart to see the community is still alive, and that so many people from years ago are still around and active here. I just came back today hoping to see some old friends on the server.

Thank you Towlie and everyone else for everything you've done.

I hope life has treated you all well over the last 10 years and I hope to see you all on the server sometime.

Finally. SFT made it's own modpack (aside from Pixelmon). We really should have done this earlier. I made something like this 2 months ago, but didn't suggest it because of how many times a custom modpack has been suggested and denied the past...
I'm pretty sure this is the one that works, if it's not I know I have a version that does somewhere: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/170073320/modpacks%20(2).zip
You just add these mods to the current B-Team modpack.
Note: I'm not mad at anyone, I'm just very disappointed that this finally happened after the amount of times this was suggested and then denied in the past.

We've had several modpacks, this is by far not the first one. I had a pack put together with a few mods but ultimately no one cared about it. Towelie also had his "derpy server" that had a few players but ultimately died off.

Ah, that is true. Either way I do hope this generates some revenue for SFT.

Also, a recommendation for you Towelie, I'd download bukkit for every somewhat recent version of Minecraft, just in case the website gets taken down. I realize it it's taken down then you might not be allowed to use Bukkit anymore, but just in case.

I would also upgrade the amount of ram on the pixelmon server so it has less lag...

It's a lot more complicated than that unfortunately. The cause of the lag could be the processor not keeping up, bad network bandwidth, etc. Some of the lag could be client-side aswell.

How long do you think this will be around for (only ask as you're offering 12 month subscriptions)?

It's probably going to be mostly filled with staff since they play for free while the rest of us have to pay.

Keep in mind, we all have to share one island. I'll probably end up buying my own island.
