(i'll never forget tho when i grinded for 48 hours straight took a power nap then i came back and him and luffy had claimed like 40 more land we couldn't tp to and unclaim and we got overclaimed. my fault tbh i shouldn't have encouraged their greed for land. we still one of the all time great grinds)

I joined in 2011, so nearly 15 years. I haven't really played on the server in a while. Tow still has me on Discord, so I haven't been far. Even joined a couple games of Smash and Mario Kart with him and some others from time to time.
Recently was thinking about the forum and decided to have a look around. I remember when I used to keep this site open perpetually in my browser (which I think led to me being one of the users with the most uptime on the forums. Don't remember how to check that, but am curious if I am still near the top). I hope everybody is doing well, and am happy to see that it's all still here.
This server and community was my life for a while, and I have such fond memories. I wish I still had the time and energy to commit. Unfortunately I went from not even being a teenager, to now being an adult with a job, a house, and other responsibilities. But I wouldn't have any of those things if it wasn't for SFT. I got interested in Minecraft plugins and Java due to this server, and learned a lot developing plugins here. I now work a professional job writing Java code (for better or for worse
). That job has enabled me to move out of my parents house and afford many nice things I could only dream about when I was a kid. In large part thanks to this community, my experiences serving it, the things I learned, and the personal encouragement of Towelie, who pushed my aspirations just a bit higher when I was nearing the end of highschool. I am so grateful to him and this place.
I felt a bit guilty for many years that I kind of let my life pull me away from here. I genuinely feel like I owe so much to this place, but I spent less and less time here. I eventually came to realize that it's just the way life is. I just wasn't in a place where I could hang out on SFT like I used to. I certainly hope that Tow, the other devs, or anybody else doesn't feel like I ever abandoned them.
I could go on about many things I appreciate. From learning social skills as a fledgling teenager to how I am on track to be married to the love of my life soon. But, this post is getting long. SFT will always hold an incredibly special place in my heart, and I hope to keep contact, even if sparse, for as long as I can.
Thank you to Towelie and everybody else who has made SFT so special over the years.

We take issues around hacking or hijacking accounts as well as using alts seriously, and do not feel you seriously understood the issue with your behavior or the reasons why you were banned, and you didn't make your unban request sincerely.
Reviewing thekingofpop2, I believe I was mistaken about them being banned as we understood it wasn't them. However, regardless of the outcome it wasn't acceptable to take their account. Taking control of people's online accounts is never ok, and because you did, we had to take extra steps to help them which both hurt their ability to play for the time being and required time for our staff to manage and sort out as well. I don't know specifically if you did anything online besides your chat comments, but your friend could have easily been banned if we didn't understand the situation.
Again, regardless of your intentions with the screenshots you sent, you still insinuated you were attempting to hack user accounts and ransom them. It doesn't matter if it was a joke or not, or if you had the capability and were only claiming to control them after you had logged in on thekingofpop's account. Taking responsibility for what you did and properly apologizing was what we wanted to see.
I will now lock your unban request. Please do not immediately request for an additional unban, as we will not reconsider unbans after a request was recently denied. You may request an unban again later in the future.

Last post by glitch4trap - Mar 04, 2025, 02:48 AMI would like to have a reason of thekingofpop2 Mc account ban, becuase I don't believe that I broke any server rules while having access to the account, beside using it without permission. I believe they banned his account solely becuase I had access to it, not becuase the account wasn't following rules. Also those images that show the people mc account was just a guest minecraft username account, which could be used to play minecraft java as a guest, but not able join server. At this time of he incident I had no java account. I only ever had 1 alt on superfuntime discord and I believe it was called "jesse123altalt" I made it for counting but it got banned so I just deleted the discord account.

I actually only joined your server and are on your server is becuase thekingofpop2 wanted to play with me, since we are irl freinds.

Regarding the accusation you encouraged using alts, that came from the staff member that originally banned you. Thekingofpop claimed you were the one using their account during those chat messages I included. Since you followed up with claiming to have hacked an account and ransoming it (which I assume is what you admitted too), and didn't deny what thekingofpop said, I'm inclined to believe them. Even if they gave you their password, taking control of their account and using it without their permission is not acceptable. Their account was banned by survival staff for breaking survival rules, so exploring does not seem to be the only thing you did on their account. Regarding any other alts you may have used, the server owner Towelie found alt accounts he believed you used.
It would be helpful if you explained the situation you described in your reply (the alt you used for the counting game), and try to explain the chat messages made from your own account as well as what you did with thekingofpop's account and what you did online.
