Rules - Building Rules


Server Rules:
1. No Griefing, Don't destroy what you don't own
2. Do Not steal from other people or their chests
3. No Hacking, Hacking and Glitch abusing are forbidden
4. No Mods, 3rd party mods are not allowed (Fly/X-ray/etc.)
5. Speak English in main chat, Use PM for other languages
6. Don't insult staff and don't harass them
7. No Racism or foul Language will be tolerated
8. Read the building rules before building
9. Place a sign on your house or it will get removed
10. No Ads of any kind are allowed.
11. You can have 5 wolves at the most.
12. NO REFUNDS!!! This is a survival server No exceptions
13. Return items dropped by staff or be punished
14. Call a Mod+ to get your house protected
15. [Private] write this on the first line on a sign in front of a chest to protect it Doors work too!
16. Don't settle a new town without consent from Shannee
17. Do not ask for ranks or your chances will decrease
18. Do not stress the managers about opening the emporium
19. [Member] rank is gained after 24h of uptime & after applying at superfuntime.org/guest
20. Don't abuse CAPS or you will be banned
21. Don't claim to be part of the staff.
22. Register on superfuntime.org and be active
23. This server is using an Area/Local chat plugin. The chat is limited to 15 people around you.
24. To see people who you can chat with type /recievers
25. To shout type /sh [message] This way the entire server will see your Message.
26. If you want to chat with more than 15 players,you can create a party and invite others
27. /party [name] to create it and /invite [player] to invite
Building Rules:
1. Do not make 1x1 stacks (or destroy them if you do)
2. you may only own 1 town. To start a town ask Shannee
3. All towns must have a resident list near the entrance
4. The resident list must be constantly updated
5. Towns with less than 5 members will be removed
6. You need to move away from the town to build.
7. Dont ruin the natural water flow
8. Dont't build too close to other towns or villages
9. No fireplaces in wooden houses
10. DO NOT build player death traps
11. Please clear the whole tree and not just the wood
12. Do not use noteblocks with redstone.(lags)
13. If you need your area protected ask a mod
14. If you see any corrupted water please let a mod+ know
15. A player can only be resident in a single town.
16. Please let the town owner knoow when you leave a town
17. Do not build your house near another house without the owner's agreement
18. Please avoid using "redstone loops" as they lag
19. Don't leave any "perpetuum machines" running when you disconnect
Town Rules:
1. You may only live in 1 town at a time. Managers+ may live in up to 2.
2. Towns requre a minimum of 5 residents at all time. The town owner must live in his town.
3. New boundaries
4. Boundaries will be marked with beacons or walls placed by either me or Shannee.
5. Buildings outside the beacons is strictly forbidden and will be removed.
6. All buildings related to the town must be inside the town boundaries.
7. Only Members or higher may start a town.
8. Unauthorized towns will be removed with 3 days notice, not 7
9. Limit of towns increased to 20
10. Towns must respect the land, don't make ugly towns/place cobble everywhere.
11. Players are not allowed to build within 50 blocks of towns at all, even owners/residents.
12. Town owners are required to post BCV for those who do build to close to their towns.
13. All towns will have greeting and farewell flags.
14. Town sizes and prices -
      Small Town 50x50 - 1,000,000 EMP
      Medium Town 100x100 - 2,000,000 EMP
      Large Town 150x150 - 3,000,000 EMP
      *Pre-existing towns will not have to pay but will have to re-size their town down to 150x150 free of cost.
15. You can not shrink your town in size, so make sure you want the size town you have.
16. You can sell your town to me or Shannee for 50% of the cost of the size of town.
17. You can expand your towns (up to 150x150)
      Small -> Medium 1,000,000 EMP
      Small -> large 2,000,000 EMP
      Medium -> large 1,000,000 EMP
18. Towns may not move the beacons/walls. A large fine will apply to those who try to.
19. Town Owner Responsibilities
      - Keep an updated residents board at the warp site
      - Ensure there are no floating trees and broken water within their town boundries
      - report anyone building inside the 50 block surrounding the area of their town
      - Town owners found with inactive players (2 weeks or more not online) who have no reason (vacation/emergency) will be fined.
Forum Rules:
1. No illegal content. This will result in a permanent ban, not a warn. Depending on the content, your ISP may be contacted.
2. No posting content of dubious legality. If the staff cannot determine whether the content is legal or not, then you may be warned and your content may be removed.
3. No viruses, adware, or other harmful software. Linking to these or discussing their implementation is against the law, and will get you permanently banned. Depending on the nature, your ISP may be contacted.
4. No death threats. Do not directly claim a threat against another user's life. Your ISP will be contacted and authorities may be informed of your activity. At the very least, you will be permanently banned.
5. No personal information. Addresses, telephone numbers, and other personal details are against the rules - whether or not the parties consent to it. Even giving out fake information is discouraged. These behaviors will result in permanent bans.
6. No engaging in file-sharing, piracy, or other forms of intellectual property infringement. We will not protect you if an organization subpoenas a list of names and IPs from us, we'll use preventative measures (such as warns) to curb this behavior.
7. No offensive images, pornography, or content legal only for certain age groups. This will result in a strict warn, and, if persistant, in a ban.
8. No incoherent posts or purposeful spamming.
9. No posting simply to boost Post Count.
10. No proxy-using.
11. No complaining about warns from other members, or begging the staff to lift a warn. This behavior is annoying and we will automatically lift warns over time. Threads made to this effect will be removed; if it keeps up, the member may be warned more.
12. No dodging suspensions, bans, or warns; or attempting to skirt the rules to 'test the mods.' This is a form of trolling.
13. No additional accounts, unless they are service accounts allowed by a moderator. Each person using these forums is limited to a single account. If they have already been made and are discovered, the secondary accounts will be deleted and the main account will be warned.
14. No trolling. Trolling is irrelevant or controversial content posted simply to provoke a negative emotional response. Don't feed trolls (give them any 'ammo'; that is, respond to their statements strongly) because it promotes more trolling.
15. No excessive profanity. Some swearing is okay, but unnecessary use of the F word, the S word, 'see you next Tuesday,' etc. may be cleaned by mods. If you keep it up, you may be warned.
16. No flaming or flamebaiting. This includes attacks against someone's character when it is unnecessary for the conversation.
17. No embedding malicious or annoying links into posts or signatures. Depending on the maliciousness, you may receive warns or bans.
18. No harassing or stalking other members, either openly on the forums or by PMs.
19. No hateful, sexist, or discriminatory language.
20. No attempting to skirt the rules. Users are expected to obey the spirit of the rules and members who are deemed to mean harm in their actions on the forums, as implicitly and technically fine as they may be, are subject to warns from mods as if they had broken a rule.
21. No non-English posts. These are English-speaking forums. Try using an online translator if you cannot post in English. If you as a user see a non-English post, try to post a translation for yourself or others to properly respond to. This won't get you warned, though.
22. No chatting about engaging in illegal activities, outside of a serious debate and its context.
23. No discouraging newbies. Communities thrive on new members. People who act poorly towards newbies may be warned.
24. No annoying tags or text. Giant fonts, aLtErNaTiNg CaPs, and use of excessive l33tsp34k is highly discouraged and, if you keep it up, you'll get warned.
25. No grammar nazis or spelling nazis. If a post is clear—whether or not it is spelled and punctuated correctly—just read it and go on. Mods may quietly revise spelling, if they desire, but it's really not worthwhile that they waste their time on it. Deliberately obscured text might get you warned, over time.
26. No resurrecting ancient topics, if you do not have anything important to add.
27. No double-posting or 'bumping' your threads. If a thread needs to die, it must be allowed die naturally. Multiposting and bumping might get you warned.
28. No big signatures. Sig. length may be trimmed down by mods (usually, large images will simply be converted to URLs; the staff member may leave a note inside the signature). 600x200 pixels is rather large, and could be considered an upper limit to sig size. All images in a sig should be under 500kb to be respectful to those on slower connections.
